Do you want to know the answers to questions like "How do I prepare for a job interview?" or "What is good job interview etiquette?" Understanding the importance of a job interview and how to handle each step is essential to making a strong impression.

The interview process starts the moment you engage with the company and ends only after you follow up post-interview.  Knowing the proper attire, how to present your strengths and weaknesses, and when to follow up can make a huge difference in your success.  Equally important is understanding when to decline an interview if it’s not the right fit. Job interview etiquette, from punctuality to professionalism, helps you stand out and reflects your commitment to the opportunity.

Module 1: Professional Image
✓ Foundation Building

First impressions matter—often within seconds—so this module focuses on how to present your most confident and capable self from the start. You’ll learn the first impressions formula and discover how to exude confidence through posture, tone, and poise. Effective listening will be a key skill, guided by golden rules that foster connection and understanding. To tie it all together, you’ll be introduced to the seven avenues of communication, helping you master both verbal and non-verbal cues during interviews.

Module 2: Communicating Your Presence

​In interviews, how you communicate is just as important as what you say. This module covers professional introductions that make a lasting impression, using appropriate titles, and greeting interviewers with respect and polish. You'll learn which topics to avoid and how to steer conversations with confidence using appropriate conversation starters. We’ll also cover interview-appropriate dress codes and how to ensure your social media reflects a professional presence that supports your application.​​​
Module 3: Professional Presence

Your body speaks volumes, often louder than your words. This module teaches you to manage facial expressions, gestures, and posture with intention—from how you stand and sit, to walking up stairs or entering a room. You'll also learn how to use your hands effectively while speaking, carry your workbag professionally, and make strong entrances and exits—all of which contribute to a confident and composed image during interviews. 

Module 4: Business Communications

​This module covers the practical and digital essentials that shape how employers perceive you before and after the interview. You’ll refine your cover letter, resume, and references, and learn how to build a polished LinkedIn profile. We’ll also show you how to set up a professional voicemail and email address, handle video interviews smoothly, and format follow-up letters or emails. Finally, you’ll gain insight into interview room dynamics so you can navigate the environment with confidence and awareness.​
